Our Vision
Our vision is to create a portfolio of indie games on Steam. Drawing on people’s talents and through supportive collaboration, we aim to create a wide variety of games. We want to create a portfolio of games tailored for every taste and every mood.
We aim to work hard and support our partners in every way we can, creating a development environment that fosters productivity and freedom.
We respect people who have daily lives to live, and some may only do this as a part-time labor of love. We equally respect that the players often have other commitments to fulfill and design and take games on board that take time into consideration. Whether the game is going to make you feel, test your skills, or give you thrills, we curate with care.
We consider the daily commute by making games that are playable on the Steam Deck and that can be picked up and put down whenever necessary. Your time matters; our dev’s time matters, and your purchase is valued.
New or Pro
We are not concerned whether this is the first game you have ever made or your 99th game. We are concerned about whether you have the drive and tenacity to make an epic indie game and help us make a wonderful gaming community.
Old & New
Our game developers have humble origins, like most people in the indie game development world. Although we are working on more polished games for Steam, we have a few small-scale projects on our itch pages and in our portfolios.
The founder of JBO Studios wants to build a collaborative and nurturing environment for developers and build an organization built on friendship and encouragement. Check out his games. He has been developing for 6 years now. You can see in his portfolio on itch he has come a long way from early projects and templates.
Great Expectations & Realism
We are all deeply enthusiastic about gaming, and we want this to be fruitful for everyone involved. We are starting off small and building it up. Everyone has to start somewhere, and so here we are. If you are interested in joining us, we offer competitive rates within the publishing world, but we don’t necessarily guarantee you overnight fame. This industry has been overwhelmed since the Covid crisis; many developers have jumped on the indie game development wagon. Additionally, with the rise of AI, many tech wizards will have this industry to fall back on as they lose their 9-to-5. And finally, the indie landscape is changing. What was once a self-taught and small-scale industry is now big money in terms of investment. For these reasons we are selective of who we want to publish for… It’s not just the game; it’s the heart and mind behind it that we value.
